The Florida based Glazer family, who also own Tampa Bay Buccaneers, were never welcomed by the fans and came under heavy fire from the protest movement last season. Manchester United being the most prominent global brand in football, the Glazers have always maintained that the club is not for sale and that they will not be pressurised into selling.
