Fe­d­erico Macheda found the net after only 24 seconds as he chipped the ball past Donovan Rick­etts, scor­ing one of the quick­est goals in Manchester United his­tory. He then doubled Manchester United’s lead in the 12th minute of the match when he headed a Nani corner past the Amer­ican goalkeeper.
