A Glasgow native, Jim McCalliog started out with Chelsea where he made his first team debut in a 3–0 triumph over Birmingham City at St Andrews in September 1964. He then played for Sheffield Wednesday and Wolverhampton Wanderers before he was bought by relegation struggling Manchester United for £60,000 in March 1974.

Manchester United forward Dwight York netted a brilliant treble, while Roy Keane, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Teddy Sheringham scored one goal each.

Manchester United managed to collect a most important draw in the Champions League Round 16 match against reigning French League Champions Marseille at a full packed and noisy Stade Velodrome on Wednesday night. Yesterday´s goalless encounter didn’t comprise much excitement, however, as Marseille as well as Manchester United struggled to create any noteworthy scoring chances against solid defensive performances on both sides.

Manchester United pack their bags and make the relatively short journey to the South of France to take on Marseille at the Stade Velodrome in Round 16 of the Champions League this upcoming Wednesday. Manchester United will miss Anderson, Jonny Evans, Rio Ferdinand, Owen Hargreaves, Ryan Giggs and Antonio Valencia who are out with injuries, while Luc Remy and Brandao are likely to return to action for the home side.

Karel Poborsky was born in the South Bohemian town of Trebon and appeared for a number of clubs in Czechoslovakia before he signed with Manchester United at the beginning of the 1996–97 campaign. Poborsky made his Manchester United debut in a 2–2 draw with Everton at Old Trafford in August 1996 and the creative midfield man went on to appear in 32 league matches for the club between 1996 and 1998.

Sir Alex Ferguson´s Manchester United team went into the lead in the 28th minute of the tightly contested match when forward thinking right fullback Wes Brown headed home a magnificent cross from Northern Ireland international Darron Gibson.

In February 1999, Manchester United favourite Ole Gunnar Solskjaer scored four goals during his club´s 8–1 triumph over Nottingham Forest at City Ground. The Norwegian international took the field as a late second half substitute for his fellow frontman Dwight Yorke and he immediately managed to make a strong impact on the match.

The Blue Square Premier outfit became the first non-league team since 1994 to make the last 16 when they edged Torquay United by 1–0 at Plainmoor courtesy of a late first period goal from Matt Tubbs in the FA Cup Fourth Round.

DHL were founded by Adrian Dalsey, Larry Hillblom and Robert Lynn in San Francisco back in 1969 and are a part of Deutsche Post who commit its expertise in international express, air and ocean freight, road and rail transportation, contract logistics and international mail services to its customers.
