Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is considering making a bid to sign Napoli player Edinson Cavani as a replacement for Dimitar Berbatov. The Uruguay frontman was brought to Napoli from Palermo for £15 million in the summer of 2010 and notched up an amazing 33 goals in 47 games for the Stadio San Paolo club last season.

According to the latest reports, Manchester United winger Bebe has signed a one year loan deal to play for Turkish team Besiktas. Initially recommended to Sir Alex Ferguson by Portugal national team coach Carlos Queiroz, Bebe was brought to Manchester United from Vitoria de Guimaraes for a fee of £7.4 million at the beginning of the 2010-111 season but the promising player has struggled to settle down at Old Trafford.
