After a disappointing result against Swiss side FC Basel in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday, Manchester United prepare to take on Premier League new boys Norwich City at Old Trafford this weekend. Manchester United dropped their first league points of the campaign with a 1–1 draw against Stoke City on Saturday, while The Canaries managed to beat Steve Bruce´s Sunderland 2–1 at Carrow Road last Monday.

A late goal from £20 million summer signing Ashley Young earned Manchester United a 3–3 draw against Swiss outfit FC Basel at Old Trafford in the UEFA Champions League last night. Manchester United, who missed the injured Wayne Rooney, went into a 2 – 0 lead at half time thanks to a brace from Danny Welbeck but as the second period progressed Thorsten Fink´s men became much more of a threat.

Portugal international winger Nani opened the score sheet with a breathtaking individual display in the 27th minute of play before a brilliant headed goal from Stoke forward Peter Crouch seven minutes into the second half ended Manchester United´s winning streak.
