Luis Nani is most likely to miss Manchester United’s FA Cup Fourth Round tie with historical enemies Liverpool at Anfield Road this weekend. Nani, who has been in great form this campaign, was injured in the close 2–1 win away to Arsenal last Sunday and the winger could be sidelined for several weeks with damaged ankle ligaments.
Manchester United player Danny Drinkwater has agreed to join forces with ambitious Football League Championship outfit Leicester City for an undisclosed transfer free. The highly talented youngster has previously been loaned out to Huddersfield Town, Cardiff City, Watford and Barnsley in order to acquire valuable first team exposure.
Football League Championship team Brighton and Hove Albion are said to be prepared to make a serious offer for Manchester United central attacker Michael Owen. The previous England international has made very few starts for Manchester United this season and has been reduced to nothing more than a fringe player at Old Trafford.
