Manchester United´s Forgotten Man
January 18, 2011 by Chris Marker · Leave a Comment
Born in Newton Heath, Ronnie Wallwork joined the Manchester United Academy straight from school at the age of sixteen. The granite hewn defender went on to make his league debut for the club when he came on as a substitute in a 7–0 victory at home to Barnsley in October 1997, but the versatile player never managed to establish himself in the first team under Alex Ferguson and he made only 28 appearances during his stay at Old Trafford.
