Anders Lindegaard Out With Injury

Reportedly, Manchester United´s second choice shot stopper Anders Lindegaard has suffered ligament damage and will probably be sidelined for at least a month. Lindegaard, who joined Manchester United from Norwegian club Aalesund in November 2010, turned his ankle in training and manager Sir Alex Ferguson has confirmed that the Denmark international will miss at least four weeks, maybe five or six.
Nani Could Be Out For Several Weeks

According to the latest news reports, bandy legged flankman Luis Nani is most likely to miss Manchester United’s FA Cup Fourth Round tie with historical enemies Liverpool at Anfield Road this weekend. The Portuguese international, who has been in great form this campaign, was injured in the close 2–1 win away to Arsenal last Sunday and could be sidelined for several weeks with damaged ankle ligaments.

Born in Denmark, Jesper Olsen ignited his professional soccer career with Ajax of Amsterdam before the exciting outside left was bought by Manchester United manager Ron Atkinson for an estimated fee of £350,000 in the summer of 1984. Always willing to give his very best try, the free flowing flankman made his first league appearance for his new club in a 1–1 draw with Watford at Old Trafford on the opening day of the 1984–85 campaign.

The Three Lions, who came from behind to win the battle 2–1 on account of the fact that they were a far better team on the night, started the international friendly match well and Wayne Rooney almost scored inside five minutes but the Manchester United centre forward´s effort was blocked.
