Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson praised his players after they came from three goals down to collect a valuable point against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday. Daniel Sturridge, Juan Mata and David Luiz gave Andre Villas-Boas´s side a 3–0 lead, before two converted penalties from Wayne Rooney and a late headed goal from prolific marksman Javier Hernandez saw Manchester United gain a 3–3 draw.

Manchester United midfield playmaker Paul Scholes opened the scoring account after 45 minutes in the convincing 3–0 triumph against Lanacashire neighbours Bolton Wanderers at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon. Sir Alex Ferguson´s title challenging side eased to a deserved and ultimately comfortable 4–1 triumph over Wolverhampton Wanderers at their Old Trafford home on Saturday afternoon thanks to two goals each from Nani and Wayne Rooney. For the most part, it was a comparatively one sided match as a confident Manchester United team dominated possession and produced the vast majority of goal scoring chances.

It was another disappointing draw for Manchester United as they blew a one goal lead against Alan Pardew´s Newcastle United team at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon. A goal by Manchester United goal plunderer Javier Hernandez put the hosts ahead shortly after the resumption before the visiting side evened the score thanks to a penalty from Senegal international Demba Ba in the 62nd minute of the game.
