Manchester United prepare to lock horns with reigning Dutch champions Ajax at their Old Trafford home in the second leg of the Europa League last 32 this Thursday night. Manchester United, who won the first leg at the Amsterdam Arena 2–0 last week thanks to second half goals from Ashley Young and Javier Hernandez, are clearly the better team of the two and should definitely win this game by a good margin.

According to reports, Manchester United goalkeeeper Tomasz Kuszczak has signed for Football League Championship outfit Watford on loan until the end of the current campaign. The Poland international shot stopper, who has been fourth choice goalkeeper for most of the season, made his last first team appearance for Manchester United in a draw with old rivals Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park in May 2011.

A highly confident Manchester United team emerged victorious thanks to two goals in the second half from young forwards Ashley Young and Javier Hernandez respectively.

Sir Alex Ferguson has said Luis Suarez should never play for Liverpool again after refusing to shake Patrice Evra’s hand during the traditional pre-match greeting at Old Trafford on Saturday. The Uruguay international was given an eight game ban and fined £40,000 after the Football Association claimed he racially abused the Manchester United full back during the 1–1 draw at Anfield Road back in October 2011.

Football Association chairman David Bernstein has confirmed the temporary appointment of Stuart Pearce as the successor of Fabio Capello The England Under-21s manager, who made an impressive 78 full international appearances for his native country between 1987 and 1999, will take charge of The Three Lions senior team for their friendly encounter with the Netherlands at Wembley on the 29th of February.
