Ben Amos Signs For Hull City

Ben Amos has signed for Football League Championship team Hull City on a season long loan. The promising shot stopper, who recently signed a new three-year deal with Manchester United, has previously spent time on loan at Peterborough United, Molde, and Oldham Athletic in order to acquire some valuable first team experience.
Ben Amos is undeniably a competent and highly confident goalkeeper, but the 22-year-old needs to play more first team football because he has been down the pecking order at Manchester United for quite some time now. Born and raised in nearby Macclesfield, the goalkeeping prospect was discovered by Manchester United scouts when he was only ten years old and joined the Old Trafford club at the ripe young age of eleven. An England youth international, he has played for the country of his birth at the Under-16, Under-17, Under-18, Under-19 and Under-20 levels. Ben Amos: “When people asked me what I wanted to do as a job, it was to play for Manchester United. I watched Peter Schmeichel playing and I had my mind set on it from then. I think that I have worked too hard not to be patient and obviously you don’t want to give up on your dream. Whilst I am not playing regularly, I still believe I can do it. While that belief is there, I will persevere.”

Hey! Great stuff!
