Ben Amos Signs New Deal

Manchester United goal­keeper Ben Amos has agreed to put pen to paper on a new con­tract that will keep him at the club until the end of the 2014–15 sea­son. The Eng­land Under-21 inter­na­tional made his Eng­lish Premier League debut for Manchester United in a com­fort­able 2–0 vic­tory against Stoke City at Old Traf­ford in Janu­ary.

Mac­cle­s­field born Ben Amos, who is a product of the highly suc­cess­ful Crewe Alex­an­dra Youth Academy, has so far man­aged to make a total of seven first class appear­ances for Manchester United. The young and tal­en­ted prodigy has also spent con­sid­er­able time on loan with Peter­bor­ough United, Molde, and Old­ham Ath­letic in an attempt to acquire some valu­able first team exper­i­ence. A con­sist­ent and depend­able shot stop­per, Ben Amos has rep­res­en­ted his nat­ive coun­try at every level from Under-16 to Under-21.
