Manchester United goalkeeper Ben Amos has agreed to put pen to paper on a new contract that will keep him at the club until the end of the 2014–15 season. The England Under-21 international made his English Premier League debut for Manchester United in a comfortable 2–0 victory against Stoke City at Old Trafford in January.
Macclesfield born Ben Amos, who is a product of the highly successful Crewe Alexandra Youth Academy, has so far managed to make a total of seven first class appearances for Manchester United. The young and talented prodigy has also spent considerable time on loan with Peterborough United, Molde, and Oldham Athletic in an attempt to acquire some valuable first team experience. A consistent and dependable shot stopper, Ben Amos has represented his native country at every level from Under-16 to Under-21.
