Brighton Want To Sign Michael Owen

Reportedly, Football League Championship team Brighton and Hove Albion prepare to make an offer for 32-year-old Manchester United frontrunner Michael Owen. The previous England international striker, who made a surprise move to Manchester United from Newcastle United on a free transfer at the start of the 2009-10 campaign, has been nothing more than a fringe player in his time at Old Trafford.
Michael Owen: “I was born to score goals, I feel. How I get the ball into the net might have changed. The actual ability of what I was born to do will never leave me. I used to be able to create a lot for other people, move defences all over the park, make great diagonal runs into channels, turn and beat players. I cannot do that as much as I used to be able to. But what I have done is refine my game to be more clever.”
