Reportedly, Manchester United cent­ral attacker Dim­itar Ber­batov could be on his way to Turk­ish Super League out­fit Gal­ata­s­aray. The pre­vi­ous Bul­garian inter­na­tional has been increas­ingly frus­trated by the lack of first team chances at Manchester United and he recently stated that he would leave Old Traf­ford for the greater good.

Dim­itar Ber­batov made only five starts for Manchester United in the Barclays Premier League last cam­paign and the bat­ter­ing ram striker has spent the last few weeks look­ing for a new club. Sir Alex Fer­guson: “I don´t need to her­ald Dim­itar Ber­batov abil­it­ies. He´s a fant­astic tal­ent, but he didn’t get the amount of foot­ball he wanted last sea­son. It’s dif­fi­cult for him at his age to accept second place in the for­ward line. The likes of Wayne Rooney, Javier Hernan­dez and Danny Wel­beck were all in front of him last season.”
