Ezekiel Fryers Rejects Contract Offer
February 8, 2012 by Chris Marker · 1 Comment
Manchester United starlet Ezekiel Fryers has turned down a new contract offer from Sir Alex Ferguson thought to be worth a basic £1,500 per week. An uncompromising and determined defender, Fryers made his first appearance for Manchester United in a 3–0 Football League Cup win over Leeds United at Elland Road in September 2011.
Born and growing up in Manchester, Ezekiel Fryers started his soccer career as a trainee with Manchester United at the start of the 2009-10 campaign. While at Old Trafford, Fryers has so far managed to make only a handful of first team appearances for the club due to a string of injury problems which have kept the talented youth sidelined for a considerable amount of time. Despite of his medical record, however, Totenham Hotspur supremo Harry Redknapp is believed to be more than keen to sign the increasingly frustrated Manchester United player who has been capped by his country at various youth levels.
