Great Britain Take On Senegal

Stuart Pearce´s Great Britain side play their first match of the 2012 London Olympics Games against Senegal at Old Trafford on Thursday. Great Britain has not competed in an Olympic Games since 1960, while The Lions of Teranga will appear at the Men’s Olympic Football Tournament for the first time in the footballing history of the nation.
Manchester United evergreen Ryan Giggs is one of the three overage players selected along with Craig Bellamy of Liverpool and Manchester City´s Micah Richards. Team Great Britain manager Stuart Pearce has named the former Wales winger to lead his squad in the 2012 London Olympic Games and the well respected and vastly experienced player will now be making his debut at an international tournament.
