Ji-Sung Park

Manchester United midfield enforcer Ji-sung Park is about to leave Old Trafford for fellow English Premier League side Queens Park Rangers. Reportedly, the West London club have agreed to sign the experienced and technically competent South Korean international for a transfer fee said to be somewhere in the region of £5 million.

Although born in Seoul, Ji-sung Park initiated his professional football career with Kyoto Purple Sanga in Japan before he decided to move on to Eredivisie team PSV Eindhoven midway through the 2002-03 campaign. After starring in 64 league matches for the Philips Stadion outfit, the highly rated and much wanted South Korean eventually agreed to join Manchester United for a reported transfer fee of £4 million at the beginning of the 2005-06 season. While with The Manchester Reds, the hard working player has won four Barclays Premier League titles and the UEFA Champions League. Sir Alex Ferguson: “I would like to say that Ji-sung Park is a fantastic professional. He has a real caring heart.”
