Manchester United Meet Liverpool
December 2, 2010 by Chris Marker · 2 Comments
Manchester United will meet their old adversaries Liverpool at Old Trafford in the FA Cup Third Round in January in the only all Premier League tie following Sunday’s third round draw. Leeds knocked Manchester United out of the FA Cup last season when they managed to beat Sir Alex Ferguson´s players at Old Trafford in the FA Cup Third Round, while Liverpool were defeated by Reading in their FA Cup Third Round Replay at Anfield Road.
The fixture between bitter historical rivals Liverpool and Manchester United is English football’s fiercest rivalry and it´s sometimes referred to as the North West derby. Former Liverpool goal scorer extraordinaire Michael Owen, who has always marched to his own drum and was never one to be told what to do, seems to be relatively untroubled by any of this. After agreeing a lucrative two-year contract with reigning English Premier League champions Manchester United at the beginning of the 2009-10 campaign, the evergreen striker became only the second player since Phil Chisnall to appear for the two clubs.

Very nice. Thanks for the info.
