Manchester United Play Barcelona

Manchester United prepare to lock horns with Barcelona at the 47,000 capacity Nya Ullevi Stadium in Gothenburg this Wednesday as part of their preparations for the new season. The last time the two giant clubs met was when Sir Alex Ferguson´s players defeated The Catalans by 2–1 at Fedex Field in Washington DC in July 2011.
Both Manchester United and Barcelona are well into their pre-season preparations. The Manchester Reds drew 0–0 with VIF Oslo in their last friendly game, while Tito Vilanova´s troops defeated Paris Saint-Germain 4–1 on penalties following a 2–2 draw.
