Manchester United have secured a lucrative sponsorship contract with giant logistics company DHL the club have confirmed. DHL were founded by Adrian Dalsey, Larry Hillblom and Robert Lynn in San Francisco back in 1969 and are a part of Deutsche Post who commit its expertise in international express, air and ocean freight, road and rail transportation, contract logistics and international mail services to its customers.

According to David Gill, the logistic company´s commitment to excellence and high standards makes them an ideal partner for the club. The market leader of the international express and logistics industry will undertake a wide range of logistics services on behalf of the club over the next three years. The deal, which has been overseen by David Gill and Phil Couchman, provides the opportunity for a range of marketing activities and events across a number of platforms including digital advertising perimeter boards, matchday programme, website and events at Old Trafford. DHL will also work with the Manchester United Foundation in the development of a series of programmes to motivate youngsters to build a better life for themselves and improve the community around them.
