Sir Alex Ferguson´s Manchester United take on newly promoted Blackpool at Bloomfield Road this Tuesday evening looking for their third away victory of the Premier League campaign. The Tangerines will miss Chris Basham, Billy Clarke, Matt Gilks and Malaury Martin due to various injuries, while Manchester United could be without key players Michael Carrick and Rio Ferdinand who are both doubtful for the upcoming midweek match.
Premier League new boys Blackpool have won three, drawn two and lost four matches at Bloomfield Road this season. As for Manchester United, Sir Alex Ferguson´s troops have won two and drawn eight times when playing away from Old Trafford. The Bloomfield Road outfit lost 2–1 at home to Sunderland on last Saturday, while Manchester United extended their unbeaten record in the league to an astonishing 27 matches with their 5–0 slaughtering of Birmingham City. Despite the fact that Ian Holloway’s Blackpool side have surprised the punters on several occasions this campaign, Manchester United should win their game against The Seasiders and will do so if they play to their full potential.
