After a disappointing goalless draw against a highly confident Newcastle United team at St James Park last Tuesday, Sir Alex Ferguson´s Manchester United side lock horns with Lancashire neighbours Everton at Old Trafford at lunchtime this upcoming Saturday. Although Everton managed to overcome local rivals Blackburn 2–0 at Goodison Park in their last Premier League game, Manchester United are favourites to beat The Toffees.

Sir Alex Ferguson: “If Manchester United win on Saturday, we will only have four matches left and we will have a six point lead. That is the way I am looking at it. I am not looking beyond that. You have to recognise who is behind you. You cannot become complacent. It is good to know somebody is behind you, in that sense we use our experience of years past in situations like this and hopefully get what we want. David Moyes has had to cope with a mountain of injuries over the last few weeks but the Goodison Park club have still churned out the results. But our home record is fantastic and so is our performance level.”
