Reportedly, Manchester United gaf­fer Sir Alex Fer­guson is track­ing Bor­us­sia Dortmund player Shinji Kagawa who is out of con­tract at the end of next sea­son. And accord­ing to Bor­us­sia Dortmund sports man­ager Michael Zorc, the sough after Japan inter­na­tional mid­fielder is not pre­pared to accept the club´s exten­ded con­tract offer.

Born in Japan, Shinji Kagawa ini­ti­ated his pro­fes­sional play­ing career with Cerezo Osaka before the highly prom­ising youth even­tu­ally decided to join forces with Bundes­liga side Bor­us­sia Dortmund at the start of the 2010-11 cam­paign. An attack­ing and strong run­ning mid­field play­maker with an eye for goal, Kagawa went on to become a huge favour­ite with the demand­ing Bor­us­sia Dortmund sup­port­ers. Shinji Kagawa, who made his full debut for Japan in a friendly against the Ivory Coast in May 2008, has so far man­aged to con­trib­ute an impress­ive 9 hits in 29 inter­na­tional appear­ances for his nat­ive country.
