Paul Pogba Sidelined With Injury

Manchester United will miss the ser­vices of the injured Paul Pogba for the clash with Ever­ton at Old Traf­ford on Sunday. The Ever­to­ni­ans, for their part, will be without Leighton Baines and Jack Rod­well because of ham­string injur­ies but Steven Pien­aar is avail­able after hav­ing been cup-tied for the game against rivals Liverpool.

Paul Pogba suffered an ankle prob­lem in a reserve game just a few days ago and Sir Alex Fer­guson fears the pre­co­ciously tal­en­ted young­ster will miss the rest of the sea­son. A ball play­ing mid­field man with a sharp eye for goal, the French­man was brought to Manchester United from Le Havre at the start of the 2009-10 cam­paign. Pogba even­tu­ally pro­ceeded to make his Premier League debut when he came on as a second half sub­sti­tute for Javier Hernan­dez in the 2–0 win over Stoke City at Old Traf­ford back in January.
