Manchester United defender Reece Brown will now be given the opportunity to gain valuable first-team experience as ambitious Doncaster Rovers manager Sean O’Driscoll has signed the young and highly promising player on a one-month loan deal. An attack minded right fullback with a fierce shot, Brown has played for England at under 19 and 20 level and he was part of the squad that appeared in the under 20 World Cup Colombia 2011.
A Manchester local, Reece Brown was discovered by Manchester United scouts while playing for Fletcher Moss Rangers in Whalley Range and he was awarded a professional contract at the beginning of the 2009-10 campaign. The Manchester United starlet then had a short loan period at League Two side Bradford City where he made his league debut in a narrow 1–0 defeat to Morecambe at Valley Parade in October 2010. Reece Brown, who is the younger brother of former Manchester United player Wes Brown, went on to make three league appearances for The Bantams before he returned to Old Trafford.
