The latest reports from Ger­many sug­gest Manchester United gaf­fer Sir Alex Fer­guson is clos­ing in on a deal to sign Bor­us­sia Dortmund player Shinji Kagawa. A strong run­ning mid­field work­horse with an eye for goal, Kagawa has con­trib­uted 21 Bundes­liga hits in 49 appear­ances for the club since his arrival in the sum­mer of 2010.

Jur­gen Klopp: “We can­not blank out Shinji Kagawa´s child­hood and his cul­ture. Where Shinji Kagawa was born, the Ger­man Bundes­liga means noth­ing, there is only the Eng­lish Premier League.
