Fol­low­ing a fine 2–0 vic­tory away to Black­burn Rovers on Monday night, Manchester United pre­pare to enter­tain releg­a­tion bat­tlers Queens Park Rangers at Old Traf­ford this Sunday. The Reds, how­ever, will still have to do without the ser­vices of hard work­ing mid­field dynamo Ander­son who is out with a ham­string injury.

Manchester United have won twelve, drawn one and lost two league matches at their Old Traf­ford home this sea­son, while Queens Park have won three, drawn two and lost ten away games in the Eng­lish Premier League. The last time the two clubs met, Manchester United man­aged to defeat the West Lon­don club 2–0 at Loftus Road cour­tesy of goals from Eng­land inter­na­tion­als Wayne Rooney and Michael Car­rick. Not sur­pris­ingly, Sir Alex Ferguson’s title chasers are strong favour­ites to win the game on Sunday.
