Wayne Rooney To Recover In Time

Although Wayne Rooney missed the 3–1 win over Spurs last Saturday with a groin injury sustained in training, he is expected to be ready for the upcoming encounter with Sunderland. He also made a surprise comeback against Bayern Munich just a week after supposedly being ruled out for at least three weeks with an ankle problem.
Wayne Rooney now aims to return for the vital Premier League clash against Sunderland at The Stadium of Light as Manchester United desperately need to win to move above fierce rivals Chelsea. This would undoubtedly be good news for Old Trafford boss Sir Alex Ferguson unless the trigger happy sharpshooter suffers yet another injury. Despite of the fact Manchester United are in more need of victory than The Black Cats, they obviously have to work very hard to overcome a very confident Sunderland side who have defeated the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur at home this campaign.
