Reportedly, newly appointed Hull City manager Nick Barmby has signed 20-year-old Manchester United starlet Joshua King on a loan deal. The immensely talented youth, who made his Manchester United debut when he came on as a substitute in a narrow 1–0 triumph over Wolverhampton Wanderers at Old Trafford in September 2009, recently returned from a spell at Bundesliga club Borussia Moenchengladbach.

According to the latest newspaper reports, Manchester United supremo Sir Alex Ferguson has rejected a £500,000 offer from Newcastle United for exciting midfield playmaker Ravel Morrison. The Manchester born player, who is set to run out of contract at the end of the campaign, has already turned down the deal the 70-year-old manager has offered to keep the precociously talented youth at the club.

Manchester United midfield playmaker Paul Scholes opened the scoring account after 45 minutes in the convincing 3–0 triumph against Lanacashire neighbours Bolton Wanderers at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon. Second half goals from England internationals Danny Welbeck and Michael Carrick in the 74th and 83rd minute respectively eventually made the final score 3–0 in the favour of Manchester United.

Darron Gibson Signs For Everton

Manchester United midfield motor Darron Gibson has signed for fellow Premier League team Everton for an estimated transfer fee of £500,000. A whole-hearted footballer with a tremendous work rate, the 24-year-old Republic of Ireland international has made a total of 60 first team appearances for Manchester United after signing professional terms with the club at the beginning of the 2004-05 season.

After overcoming noisy neighbours Manchester City 3–2 at the Etihad Stadium last Sunday, Manchester United have been drawn against historical enemies Liverpool at Anfield Road in the FA Cup Fourth Round. The two teams last played each other in the FA Cup in January 2011 when Manchester United ran out 1–0 winners at Old Trafford courtesy of a converted penalty kick from evergreen veteran Ryan Giggs.
