After Blackburn had gone into a 2–0 lead thanks to two goals from Yakubu Aiyegbeni, Dimitar Berbatov netted twice for Manchester United only for central defender Grant Hanley to score the winner for The Blue and Whites with ten minutes remaining on the clock.

Following the 5–0 trashing of Wigan Athletic on Monday, Sir Alex Ferguson´s title chasing Manchester United side prepare to take on relegation candidates Blackburn Rovers at Old Trafford this Saturday. On home ground Manchester United have won seven, drawn one and lost one Premier League games this current campaign, while Steve Kean´s Blackburn have won nil, drawn five and lost four away games.
