Manchester United gaffer Sir Alex Ferguson was hopping mad after the controversial 1–1 draw against Newcastle United at Old Trafford last Saturday. After taking the lead four minutes into the second period thanks to a goal from Mexico centre forward Javier Hernandez, the firebrand manager exploded when his Manchester United side had a debatable penalty kick awarded against them after 62 minutes of play.

It was another disappointing draw for Manchester United as they blew a one goal lead against Alan Pardew´s Newcastle United team at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon. A goal by Manchester United goal plunderer Javier Hernandez put the hosts ahead shortly after the resumption before the visiting side evened the score thanks to a penalty from Senegal international Demba Ba in the 62nd minute of the game.

Born and raised in the city of Kirovograd in Ukraine, Andrei Kanchelskis started out his playing career with Dynamo Kiev in 1988 before the rampant right winger moved to Shakhtar Donetsk three years later. The Ukrainian eventually signed with Manchester United for a fee of £650,000 in the spring of 1991 and made his league debut for the club in a 3–0 defeat against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park in May 1991.
